Use the knowledge your organisation already has to simplify and improve customer service.
Your Chatterbox® is customer-service intelligence built from your organisation's own knowledge and rules. Your Chatterbox answers the questions your website already answers, captures what your team cannot take right now, and works after hours.
- Works with your website and the files you already have.
- A private Preview: a test version of your Chatterbox, built from your website or documents, free and ready in days, for your team to assess.
- No app to install. No systems to replace. Verify and trust with minimal risk.
Built for organisations with subscribers
Statement day, bounced debit orders, thirty days late. See how one billing month is handled, from the first question to the record your team sees.
Moments you know too well.
None of these are rare. They are everyday.
The answer is there somewhere
“I know it’s on the website. I just can’t find it.”
Customers ask in their own words. Your Chatterbox answers from the knowledge you already have.
The same questions, again and again
“Do you deliver here? What does it cost? What time do you close?”
Your Chatterbox handles routine questions, leaving your team free for the work that needs them.
Nobody can answer right now
“He’s at lunch. She’s on another call. And now you’re closed.”
Your Chatterbox answers when your team cannot, including after hours.
Different people give different answers
“The price changed in March. Some of the team are still quoting the old one.”
Your Chatterbox gives customers one current answer, based on your knowledge and rules.
Overdue accounts do not chase themselves
“Overdue accounts keep piling up. Nobody has had time to call them.”
Your Chatterbox sends the reminders, handles the responses and brings in a person when needed.
The conversation stops at the language barrier
“The customer starts in isiZulu. Nobody knows how to continue.”
Your Chatterbox lets customers write in South Africa’s 11 official spoken languages and speak in English, isiZulu or Afrikaans.
Different moments. The same underlying gap: the knowledge, message or next step existed. It just did not reach the right person at the right time.
You cannot prioritise what you do not understand.
A missed call, unread message, or website request tells you that someone made contact. None of them tells you what the person needs, how urgent it is, or what to do next. And until the need is understood, importance and action remain guesswork.
The need
A phone number tells you someone called. It does not tell you why.
Until you know what they need, you cannot judge its importance or decide what should happen next.
The importance
A routine question and an urgent problem can look exactly the same in a queue.
Arrival order becomes priority order, leaving urgent needs waiting behind routine questions.
The next step
No one can take ownership of “someone contacted us.”
Every unknown needs someone to investigate it before anyone can resolve it. Finding out becomes work of its own.
The pattern
When every request is handled alone, repeated problems and emerging demand remain hidden.
Thirty people asking the same question are treated as thirty separate cases, instead of one important signal.
Customers are already telling you what they need. The gap is not the contact. It is turning that contact into something your organisation can understand, prioritise and act on.
Most organisations reach for one of these.
Keep doing what you are doing
The missed requests, repeated questions and manual follow-up continue.
Hire more people or outsource
Capacity increases, but so do costs and handovers. What customers need can still remain scattered across calls, messages and separate conversations.
Add a chatbot or page search
Customers may find routine answers more easily, but the request often stops when it needs context, follow-up or action beyond the page.
Buy contact-centre software
It can solve a much larger problem, but may require more cost, integration and organisational change than you need.
Add a dialler or messaging tool
It can send the message or make the call. It does not necessarily understand the response, remember the context or ensure that the request is carried through.
Each is a reasonable answer to part of the problem.
One intelligence. Many doors. Your knowledge inside.
Every organisation already has a box: the knowledge in its website, documents, policies and procedures. Chatterbox opens that box and makes its contents available through conversation. Your box becomes your Chatterbox®.
It is not a black box. You choose the knowledge and rules that go inside. Your Chatterbox answers from those approved sources and makes it clear when the answer is not there.

Your knowledge. Your rules. Your Chatterbox.
What changes, every day.
The need, understood
Each request is captured in the customer’s own words, day or night, with a reference number they can see.
No need to start again
Answers come from knowledge you approve. The conversation is remembered, so customers and team members can continue from where it left off.
No language dead end
Customers can write in South Africa’s 11 official spoken languages and speak in English, isiZulu or Afrikaans, without leaving the conversation.
Every pattern visible
You see what customers keep asking for, how often they ask and what happens next.
And when it matters, a person steps in with the context already attached.
One request, carried forward.
A resident reports a power issue. Your Chatterbox captures the details so the estate team can investigate.
I have no power in my unit.
Which unit are you in, and when did the power go off?
Unit 18. About twenty minutes ago.
Thank you. I have logged the power issue for the estate team. Your reference is 5183 6046.

- Status
- Awaiting your team
Your team starts with the question and the context. The customer does not explain it twice.
The record captures what the resident reported. The estate team still needs to investigate.
Outbound that understands the reply.
A dialler can make the call. A messaging tool can send the SMS. Your Chatterbox holds the conversation that follows: it hears “I have already paid” or “call me next week”, understands it, responds, and records the outcome.
Reminders that handle the reply
Payment and appointment reminders that understand what customers say back, rather than a one-way broadcast.
Staged journeys, not blasts
A message, a follow-up, an escalation. Each stage waits for and understands the response before moving on, and brings in a person when needed.
STOP means stop
Consent is checked before campaign texts. Opt-out and do-not-contact records suppress campaign calls, texts and emails. STOP ends reminders on every channel.

One secure place to get help and continue a request.
Customers open your personalised customer-service interface from a secure link or QR code on any phone, tablet or computer. They can write, speak or continue an existing request in one place, with nothing to download or install. It runs on data, not airtime, so a longer, richer conversation costs your customer a fraction of a phone call or SMS chain.
Answered from your knowledge, or handed over
If the answer is in your approved knowledge, your Chatterbox responds. If it is not, it captures the request and hands it to your team with the context attached.
Always available does not mean always automated
Routine questions can be resolved whenever customers need help. Human judgement stays with your staff wherever policy, consequence or circumstance requires it.
More doors, connected to the same conversation
The interface is where your Chatterbox becomes tangible for customers. Telephone, two-way SMS and forwarded customer-service email can be added when you are ready, all connected to the same intelligence and conversation memory.
Customers use the access you choose. Your Chatterbox® keeps the conversation and next step connected.
Serve customers in the languages they use.
Your team understands in theirs. Customers mix languages mid-sentence; in writing, your Chatterbox follows.
91.3% of people in South Africa speak a language other than English most often at home.
Source: Derived from Statistics South Africa, Census 2022, Table 2.8 (opens in a new tab) (English: 8.7%).
Tone, register and forms of respect matter too. Appropriate hlonipha phrasing is part of serving customers properly, not something added after translation.

Easy to test. Easy to rule out.
Your Chatterbox is built for recurring operational problems. Some are a strong match. Others are not. The private Preview helps you find out before you commit.
Likely a strong fit when
- Customers repeatedly ask similar questions.
- A recurring fee is billed to a subscriber base. See the subscriber page.
- Calls or requests are missed after hours or during busy periods.
- Language affects who gets served well.
- Useful knowledge already exists on your website or in your documents.
- Someone can own the follow-up and decide when a person should take over.
Probably not a fit when
- Customer contact is rare and comfortably handled in person.
- There is no reliable knowledge your organisation is prepared to approve.
- Every request requires immediate specialist judgement.
- You need a full contact-centre replacement rather than customer-service intelligence.
We would rather be ruled out early than become the wrong system for your organisation.
Start privately. Add only what you need. Go Live when the fit is proven. The Preview proves your knowledge, a Trial proves an added ability and a Pilot proves the operating model. Not every organisation needs every stage.
No project. No plumbing. Nothing to undo.
Try it alongside what already works with minimal risk. If it earns its place, go Live. If not, disconnect it. Nothing else changes.

Evaluate before you convene the committee. No budget allocation or procurement needed to test.
Assess independently with minimal organisational involvement and bureaucracy. If it is not a fit, disqualify early with no residue. If it has value, take the next step with working proof in hand.
Trial, test, validate, trust, then buy.
Or disconnect, and it is as if nothing happened.
Common questions
What does the secure link or QR code open?
Your personalised customer-service interface: a secure place to ask questions and continue requests on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. Your Chatterbox answers from your approved knowledge and hands over what needs your team.
Will your Chatterbox give inaccurate answers or make things up?
Your Chatterbox stays with the documents and operating rules you approve. When a question sits outside that knowledge, it does not guess. It captures the request and routes it to your team with the context attached.
How is customer privacy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) handled?
Knowledge and conversations stay in your Chatterbox, and handling follows the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Consent is checked before campaign texts, opt-out and do-not-contact records suppress campaign calls, texts and emails, STOP ends reminders on every channel, and information is kept only as long as its purpose requires.
Do we need to replace our current phone system or website?
No. Customers open the customer-service interface through a secure link or QR code. Telephone access, if you add it, uses your existing numbers where supported and is introduced through a controlled Pilot.
Do we have to go through every stage?
No. The stages are how a Chatterbox is activated, not packages you buy. Some organisations prepare a written customer-service interface for Live use straight from the Preview. Others add voice notes, live voice in the secure interface, or telephone and SMS access, depending on the job it needs to do. See how you get to Live.
What does a Preview involve?
You provide a public website or a small set of approved documents. We prepare a private Chatterbox from that knowledge and send you a secure link and QR code. It opens in a browser, it is visible only to the people you share it with, and it is revocable. No customer sees it, and no connection to your telephone or internal systems is required.
How does this affect our current staff?
Your Chatterbox is used to support your staff, not replace them. It handles routine questions and after-hours capture so your team can spend time on the work that needs a person.
See what your own knowledge can do.
Start a private Preview before any operational commitment. Your team tests it before any customer sees it.
